Nannup to Bridgetown Section
Northern Section of the Stock Route
About This Walk
The Nannup to Bridgetown section of the Warren Blackwood Stock Route is the northern gateway to WA's premier bridle trail. This approximately 65-kilometre section traverses jarrah and marri forest, farmland, and rolling hills as it connects two of the region's most charming trail towns.
The route follows historic stock droving paths used in the 19th century to move cattle between properties and to market. Two equine-friendly campsites along this section provide horse yards and basic facilities, allowing riders to break the journey into manageable daily distances of 20β30km.
Both Nannup and Bridgetown offer excellent facilities for riders, including horse-friendly accommodation, feed and supply options, and welcoming communities that understand the trail lifestyle. This section is an excellent taster for those considering the full 345km Stock Route.
